| PASS
PLUS is
a course of six
driver training sessions, which
you can take after you have passed your
Practical Driving Test. Your Pass
Plus instructor will assist you as you
drive in all weathers,
on dual carriageways,
at night,
on motorways,
in the countryside
and in town.
There is no test to take, but you
will gain valuable positive driving skills
and the experience which would otherwise
take a longer time to acquire. The
sessions are taken in six modules as follows:-

| |
| The
first step is to choose a competent PASS
PLUS instructor. |
|
| As you complete
the six modules of the course, you will
fill in specific details on the Training
Report Form. |
|
| Your PASS PLUS
instructor will record details of your Training
and at the end of the course will send the
completed form to the Driving Standards
Agency. |
|
| After successfully
completing the course the Driving
Standards Agency will forward you a Certificate,
which you use to claim your discount with
participating Insurance Companies. |
|
| Participating
insurance companies will give you a one-step
progression on their discount scale
when you insure your own car. This means
a one year`s no claim bonus for:- |
- Comprehensive
- Third
party fire and theft
- Third
Party
|
| If you currently
drive under someone else`s policy then you
will be able to defer the one-step progression
for two years. This means that if you buy
a car in the next two years and have not
made any claims, your first premium will
be reduced by the extra one year`s no claim
bonus. |
|
| Companies will
be advertising their policies and you should
check which offer the best discount for
your requirements. |
| |
| The
Bruce School of
Motoring provides excellent
tuition in Pass Plus. |
